The Computer Technician will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all computer equipment, software, and peripherals in the school. This position requires an individual with excellent technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking. The technician will work closely with school staff to ensure that all computer systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software components of laptop computers, mobile devices, and Chromebooks, including printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Maintain inventory of all computer equipment and software licenses.
- Collaborate with the school administration to determine computer hardware and software needs.
- Ensure network connectivity and security protocols are maintained and up-to-date.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of all computer and network systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve computer-related problems for students, teachers, and staff.
- Provide training to staff and students on computer usage and software applications.
- Keep up-to-date with technological advancements in the field of computer hardware and software.
