Position Summary

We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and innovative Mathematics Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and the ability to inspire students of diverse learning backgrounds. You will be responsible for creating a supportive classroom environment that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, and a genuine appreciation for the power of math.


Key Responsibilities

  • Instructional Excellence: Design and deliver engaging lessons covering curriculum areas

  • Curriculum Development: Create and implement lesson plans that meet state and district standards while integrating real-world applications of mathematical theory.

  • Student Assessment: Develop diverse assessment tools—including formative assessments, projects, and exams—to monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.

  • Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture that encourages student participation and minimizes distractions.

  • Differentiation: Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the needs of students with varying skill levels, including those with IEPs or 504 plans.

  • Collaboration: Participate in departmental meetings, professional development workshops, and parent-teacher conferences to support the holistic growth of the student body.


Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Secondary Education, or a related field

  • Certification: Valid State Teaching Certification for Secondary Mathematics (Grades 9–12).

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using educational technology
